Students going abroad to pursue medical education

In India their are very much difficulties for the students who want to pursue their careers in medical field. This is because here in India cut-off are very high for getting admitted in medical colleges and private colleges taken much amount of donations. People who can afford to give donations grabs the opportunities but those who can’t  afford to give donations and also doesn’t have eligible marks miss these opportunities. So it gets very much difficult for the students in India to get enrolled in medical colleges in India.

24 year Paul Varghese is the native of Kochi in India. He is the final year student of MBBS in China’s Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is about to live his dream by completing his MBBS from the college of China. If he hadn’t taken admission in the medical college of China to pursue his dream, it would have remained a dream for him. He said low marks in the entrance exam had closed the doors of medical colleges in India, so he got enrolled in the college of China to pursue his dream. His dream is to treat and heal the ill. Paul says if he pursued his dream from India he must have spent Rs 20 lakh on tuition fees over 6 years. Donation fees is twice in India.

High cut-offs, limited number of seats, competition, huge fees and high donation charged by the private medical colleges in India have closed the doors for entering in the medical college for many of the students and this is the reason why students from south India are going to Armenia, Georgia, China, and the Philippines for taking admission in medical college where fees is relatively low and admission procedure is easy.
