Maharashtra board result, MSBSHSE intermediate result, Maharashtra +2 Result, has been released. it was released on 25th may 2016. Disappointment has been seen this year results of Maharashtra HSC result because their is a dip of 3 per cent in this year’s result then previous year’s result of 2015. Girls have outperformed boys by pass percentage of 90.50 while boys pass percentage remain low at 83.46%. MSBSHSE had released the result on 25th May 2016.
Decline is also seen in the no of students who scored distinction, marks above 75% in the state board. Total of 3360 students have scored marks above 90 per cent across the state. Success rate also dipped from 87.9% to 84.25%. In 2015 success rate of 87.9% was recorded which fell by 3.65% in this year of 2016 which calls for disappointment that student doesn’t got through the state board exams.
Maharashtra HSC Result Released, Shows 3% Dip
In Mumbai division which includes cities like Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palgarh have also seen a dip of 2.97%. Success rate of these cities was 86% which has now came to 83.03 per cent which is the subject to take care of. This fall is considered as a huge fall. Mumbai is on the eighth position this year also like previous year. Fall in science stream have been seen to be of 1.1% in Mumbai region .
Konkan is the region which stood on the first position this year also like previous year in 2015. Konkan have gained first position in nine divisions of state followed by 92% success rate.
S Chandekar who is secretary of the board’s Mumbai division says that unlike other regions of the state Mumbai have a lot of students. Students have not performed good. Success rate of these students is not very much high which influences overall success rate of the region. In this way officials have blamed high number of students present in the city for the decrease in the success rate.
Students who scored distinction in Mumbai division have dropped this year in 2016. Previous year in 2015 no of students who gained distinction were 34504 which has been dropped by 1060 in this year. This year students who gained distinction are 33444 in Mumbai division. Those who scored first class have shown a dip of 5428. In 2015 first class students were 92734 and this year students are 87306.
Parvathy Venkatesh who is the principal of Mullund College of Commerce said that usually their college have around 50 students who scores 90% but this year there are only 30 students who have scored 90% marks. She said that this number could increase as they doesn’t have the hard copies of the results. She also mentioned that students who participated in sports have been given additional marks according to their performance.
Total of 2.7 lakh students have cleared the 12th board exam in Mumbai region.
