Its the second day of ‘Open Days’ session at Delhi University and many queries regarding the admission application form had been registered during this day. Students are finding many problems in the admission application form as the form is so much technical and very much difficult to fill.
Open Days is the session which is is conducted by the Delhi University at their campus. In this session students with their parents are invited to discuss about the queries regarding the admission process, cut-offs , etc. This session is addressed by the Delhi University staff, they give answers to the students and parents regarding every query.
Maximum Complaints during Second day of Open Days
During the second day of ‘Open Days’ counseling session at Delhi University, the staff saw maximum complaints and queries regarding the newly released online process. The parents and students had raised problem over the online process of admission being so technical that they are facing a lot of problems. This was the day which saw maximum problems in the two days.
Admission in various under graduate courses for the seats above 60,000 had began on this Wednesday and online registration will get completed by June 19th 2016. The ritual of ‘Open Days’ is followed by the Delhi University from many years. This session is conducted before admission process gets begin for the undergraduate course of the University.
During the recent years maximum queries which were raised, were regarding courses, relaxation, colleges, best- four percentage among others and cut-offs. But this year most of the queries were regarding only online process which is reported to be very technical.
An SRCC aspirant Shruti Juneja complained that “ The University did not announce the rules before hand, the information in the admission bulletin is very much complicated and the slow processing speed of the website making it more worst”. This statement of student clearly tells that, students are facing many problems regarding online process as its is very much complicated.
Another aspirant said that ” there are certain processes, student register and make payment for its later, choose options and then selects the required subject, all the things mentioned were use to be easier when his elder brother use to study at Ramjas”.
During the days of the session another queries which were registered are- criteria regarding the admission process of those who are applying after a year gap, about up gradation of marks, choice of academics and electives, because of stream change deduction in marks, etc.
Session will be conducted from 1 to 4 June in two batches of 10 AM to 1 PM and from 4-7 PM at the University’s Conference Center. On June 6 venue will be Khalsa College and for the next day venue will be Sri Venketeshwara College. For 8-9 June venue will be Zakir Hussain College and South Campus for 10-11.
First cut-off list will be announced on June 27th and only 4 lists will be released.
