West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2016 result has been declared. Result was declared on 5th June 2016 that is on Sunday at 4 PM, by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. Students who had appeared for the examination were eagerly waiting for the result to get disclosed and now they can see their results.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board was formed in 1962 as West Bengal Board of Examination in order to get admitted to the engineering colleges through giving entrance examination. This board was formed to take a common entrance examination for the engineering colleges in the state of West Bengal.
In this test YashVardhan Didwania has topped the WBJEE 2016 result. He is from DPS Rajarhat. The candidate who got second rank is Abhishek Dutta who is from Kalyani Model School. Candidate who got third rank is Arpan Konar who is from Bidhannagar Institution.
These three candidates have topped the exam and our team congratulates them on their success.
Students can know their results on the official site that is www.wbjeeb.nic.in. It is the official website of the board on which results were shown on 5th June 2016 from 4PM.
Students who got appeared for the exam were 127196. These students had appeared to give WBJEE 2016 exam. This exam was held on 17th May 2016 in the 323 centers including Tripura and Assam 4 and 1 centers respectively.
Exam was carried for the four subjects that are Biological Sciences that is for 100 marks, Physics for 745 marks, Chemistry for 75 marks and mathematics for 100 marks. This exam is conducted for the fields of Agriculture, Engineering, Dental, Medical and Pharmacy. Students can give these exams to get admitted in the Universities, Private Colleges and for government colleges also.
Medical Exam was postponed to 20th July. Students who have passed the entrance exam their counselling session will be conducted in which student’s interview will be taken.
The core purpose of taking this exam was to get the students admitted to the colleges. This exam helps to save the energy and time both, of the students. Students are saved from giving multiple entrance exams for the different courses. The result of this single exam would the candidate to get admitted in different colleges depending on the rank they get in the exam.
