Many renowned scientists have done health study about the effects of marijuana on sperm count. Almost every health study shows that smoking marijuana or ganja is not good to male fertility and it has long term effect. Since everyone says that science is universal sometimes discovery by new scientists will show us a different side of the story, and that’s happened recently. According to a group of scientists who have done a health study on human reproduction have denied traditional myths about the adverse effects of marijuana on male’s fertility. Health researchers took more than 1143 semen samples to study whether ganja effects on men’s fertility or not. After observing every example, they found that those people who had smoked weed at least once in their lifetime had a mean sperm concentration of 62.7 million sperm per milliliter (ml), on the other hand, those men who never touched marijuana had a mean sperm concentration of 45 million sperm per milliliter.
Now some scientists had already said that a man’s sperm counts get diminish if they smoke weed or ganja. Many health organizations even had campaigns promoting bad effects of smoking weed in which they were saying a person should quit smoking marijuana in order not to lose the ability of human reproduction. Now after scientists from Harvard University did this health study, it shows another side of the story which might be shocking to many people. Many local researchers have done a review on this topic, and their research had never brought a piece of good news for weed smokers. It seems like this time they might believe in this health study since it’s been done by Experts from Harvard University.
