According to a recent report, Apple’s head of retail and online stores will be leaving the company by the end of April 2019. Angela Ahrendts who has been hired by Apple five years ago has been handling company’s online and retail stores business but it seems like the company now wants to move ahead without her, and that’s why it’s been now official that Angela Ahrendts will be leaving Apple in coming months. Ahrendts was not only one of the top paid executive of a company in 2014, but also she was the sole female executive at that time, however now after serving for more than five years, she will be leaving Apple by the end of April. According to reports Ahrendts was hired by Apple at an executive position so that company will be able to make a massive amount of sale in the Chinese and Asian market. Apple did manage to earn good revenue in the Chinese market, but from last few months, Apple has poorly performed in there because of trade disputes and its products qualities also.
Apple’s performance is getting diminished every month and if we looked at some analysts reports which show that iPhones sales have been declined by approximately 15% which is impacting negatively on the company’s financial position. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook wrote a statement regarding this news also he thanked Angela for her valuable services. Tim said that she had left her positive impact on Apple’s online stores and departments which company is not going to forget. Some experts think Apple’s online stores plus got drastically changed under Angela’s supervision and some even feel that she had been a great successor to chief executive Tim Cook. However, it will be interesting to see now who is going to head retail and online stores of Apple.
