Recently, Toyota Announced that they’d auction the first Toyota Supra 2020 model from the production line for the sake of charity. When the announcement hit the markets, there were a lot of speculations about the expected price tag it would get in the auction. In the Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Auction proceedings for the charity took place and the Toyota 2020 Supra received a whopping $2.1 Million price. The Toyota Supra received 40 times more money than it’s original MSRP in the United States market. It even fetched more money than the First even Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 car.
The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 was auctioned in the Barrett-Jackson Auction center in the Scottsdale a few days ago. It was the first ever production model that received a whopping amount for charity purposes. The Toyota Supra 2020 edition is the Black Matte Finish car with Black Tyre rim, red-colored mirrors, and the sports car look. The interior is also made with the carbon fiber threads and has a sporty look from the inside. The unidentified bidder is not only getting the Toyota Supra 2020 car but also getting a custom racing suit, Two VIP passes for the Toyota Owners NASCAR Race in Richmond Virginia and also to drive the pace car with the NASCAR Driver and commentator Michael Waltrip.
All of the amounts that are collected from this auction be it the deposits and all other charges are being donated to the Americal Heart Association and Bob Woodruff Foundation. The Bob Woodruff Foundation helps the patients and the victims of the 9/11 Attacks. American Heart Foundation and the Bob Woodruff foundation thanked the Toyota and anonymous bidder for supporting the non-profit charities.
